Over five million euro is to be spent on providing imrpoved housing stock across County Clare.

Clare County Council has been granted 3.5 million euro for housing capital funds in 2012, with over 1.8 million to be spent on improving existing homes.
251 million euro is to be shared between local authorities nationwide as part of the funding announced by Housing Minister Jan O’Sullivan.
The money will support investment under the national regeneration programme as well as providing works to improve the standard and energy efficiency of the local social housing stock
