Parents in South-East Clare are urging Bus Eireann to scrap its revised school bus proposal immediately before it comes into effect next week.
It follows a protest attended by over 200 people in Sixmilebridge this morning over plans to integrate students with the public on the new 316 route.

The demonstration took place at McGregor’s Pub, where its proposed five coaches will depart each morning between 7:50am and 8:25 to carry roughly 280 students as far as Shannon Town Hall.
Sixmilebridge Parent Edel Raferty claims that not only will the service create a serious health and safety hazard, but its inevitable students will be late for school.
