The HSE is urging people across the Mid-West to check in on your vulnerable neighbours this festive season.
The organisation says the elderly and those with serious illness or disability, can be especially vulnerable at this time of year, especially if they live alone.
Members of the public are being asked to ensure that neighbours are safe, warm and have the necessary supplies.
