Planning permission has been granted for the amalgamation of two retail units in the Shannon Town Centre Shopping Centre.
An application was lodged by Urban Green Private Limited in December for the amalgamation of the current Dealz and former Iceland units to form one single retail unit.
Iceland closed its doors in September of last year after its parent company Metron Limited went into liquidation.
The proposed development includes signage, internal demolition and all associated site development works.
Clare County Council has approved the application subject to two conditions.
