The plan put forward by Enable Ireland involves the conversion of an existing B&B for use as a children’s respite house.

Further works have also been proposed for the property to have a waste water treatment system and percolation area installed along with ancillary site works to take place.

As part of the construction plan, permission for the destruction of an existing conservatory on the Chipfield site has also been requested.

There are currently two other Enable Ireland facilities available in this county with adult services and family support services available in the Clonroad facility, while child services are available at their Lifford Road facility.

Public submissions on the developments must be lodged by August 14th and a decision will be reached by the authority by September 4th.
