Plans have been lodged for Clare's first solar farm.
Terra Solar are planning to construct the facility on a 12.2 hectare site at Ballymorris, Cratloe, on lands owned by Bryan Ryan.
A planning decision is expected in July, and if the project gets the green light then it will mark the first part of the company's planned 30 million euro investment here.
Speaking last month, Diretor Andre Fernon insisted this would be good news for Clare on the jobs front.
