The PRO of Clare Fianna Fáil says the candidate to take Mark Nestor’s council seat will be selected ‘sooner rather than later’.
The Cloughleigh Councillor will officially resign this afternoon following the September meeting of Clare County Council in order to enter the priesthood.
Mark was the youngest member elected in 2019’s local elections and took the third of seven seats on offer.
