Sinn Féin Convention Imminent To Fill Vacant Shannon Seat

A Sinn Féin convention to fill the party’s vacant Clare County Council seat is expected to be held in the coming days.

The party will come together, under supervision from a representative from main headquarters, to decide who will replace the late Mike McKee.

Councillor McKee passed away in November following a battle with cancer, having retained his council seat in the local elections last May.
