A post mortem is due to be carried out later today on the body of a 35 year-old woman discovered at a house in county Meath yesterday.
The remains were found in Edgeworth Court in Longwood – at approximately 5 o’clock.
Gardai are currently carrying out carry out a technical examination of the scene.
Meanwhile, a 30 year old man who was in the house, was taken to Mullingar General Hospital for treatment – however his injuries are not serious.
Gardai are expected to talk to the man later today.
