The QuareClare group has been awarded €10,000 in funding from the government.
The local advocacy organisation has received the funding under the LGBTI+ Funding Scheme B, administered by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration, and Youth.
QuareClare aim to use the grant to support their “Bród An Chlair” project which includes the Clare Pride 2024 parade, visibility campaigns, awareness workshops in schools and local art exhibitions.
Chairperson of QuareClare, Chris Koble, says the funding is a step forward in their mission to foster an inclusive, accepting, and understanding community in County Clare.
