Raheen Community Hospital has expressed its delighted in receiving 2 and a half thousand euro in government funding for a new local initiative.
The health facility in Tuamgraney is one of two County Clare groups which have been granted monies for projects highlighting the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion.
The West Clare Family Resource Centre in Kilrush is also set to benifit from the 120 thousand euro being awarded to a total of 43 groups nationwide.
