New figures show that in the year to the end of September – prices nationally rose by 3.6 per cent – and by 1.8 per cent last month.
The Central Statistics Office says prices in Dublin are over 12 per cent higher year on year – after a 4.2 per cent jump in September.
But prices are still on average over 50 per cent lower than the peak in 2007.
