One person has been taken to hospital following a road traffic accident near Miltown Malbay.
The incident occurred in the Rineen area this lunchtime, and involved two vehicles.

The road was closed for a time to allow emergency services to clear the scene, but has since reopened.
It’s understood the person who was injured did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
