A group set up to protect services at Ennis General have reacted cynically to claims that the HSE is to review it’s reconfiguration program for health services in Clare
Around 500 people turned out for a meeting in Ennis on Friday night, at which they were told that no firm date is in place for any potential withdrawal of acute medical services from Clare’s County Hospital
Those in attendance also heard that the Minister for Health has been urged to defer any such move until after the general election.
However, Ciaran O’Dea of the Ennis Hospital Development Committee remains unconvinced
