The body of 53-year-old Christopher Jackson was found at an apartment on Prussia Street in Stoneybatter on Saturday.

It’s understood he had been stabbed to death – and that his remains were hidden in a plastic bag in the flat for several days.

Yesterday, 39-year-old Bernard Locke – with an address at the same apartment block – appeared in court charged with murder.
