One of the creators of Ireland’s Fittest Families believes their latest award success will bring it one step closer to exporting the format to America and the UK.
The TV show took home the award for Best Entertainment Show at the Royal Television Society Ireland Awards this week.
Created by former Clare goalkeeper and Senior Manager Davy Fitzgerald and Event Manager James Sexton in 2014, it features families from across the country competing in different adventure races and fitness competitions.
The format is for sale globally and is being aired by tv stations in seven countries. Owner of HIYA Events in Shannon, James Sexton says it could be going stateside soon.
