A one million euro facelift of the retail facility at Shannon Airport is set to be completed in the coming weeks.
Work on overhauling "The Loop" which got underway is September is being carried out in three stages and when complete its hoped the 900 square metre centre will help boost the local economy and tourism sector.
Shannon Airport is the birthplace of Duty Free and was first established by the late Dr Brendan O Regan in 1947.
