Officials behind a 500 million euro project which could bring a significant jobs boost to the Mid West are to brief Clare’s local representatives on their plans later today.
t’s proposed that the Shannon LNG gas project will be constructed at Tarbert, Co. Kerry on the banks of the Shannon Estuary – the company says it could create up to 650 jobs during construction and operation.
Councillors from the West of the county recently met with representatives from Shannon LNG, and today the 32 members of Clare County Council will hear proposals from and ask questions of the company on it’s proposals.
