Protesters who demonstrated at Shannon Airport against President Trump's immigration policy have called on the Irish government to listen to their calls.

Protesters who demonstrated at Shannon Airport against President Trump's immigration policy have called on the Irish government to listen to their calls.

Over 100 protesters took part in last night's event in Shannon, while 1,000 more took part in another demo outside the US embassy in Dublin.

The voice of Zoe Lawlor from Irish Solidarity With Palestine speaking at last night's protest at Shannon Aiports. 

She was among the roughly 100 people were took part, including members of Anit Austerity Alliance/People Before Profit, the Greens, Social Democrats, Sinn Féin, ShannonWatch and Veterns for Peace. 

Those in attendance voiced their concerns and want the Irish government to respond to them, but some are skeptical that won't happen.

Speaking on today's edition of Morning Focus on Clare FM, Sinn Féin TD Pearse Doherty said says he doesn't believe Enda Kenny will stand up to President Trump.
