Shannonwatch has lambasted the Government for failing to guarantee planes transporting weapons for the IDF are not flying through Irish Airspace.

New flight records obtained by the Ditch have revealed that at least six planes carrying munitions for the Israeli military contractors or the Israeli police have flown over Irish sovereign territory, since October.

Despite this, the Department of Transport has confirmed that no exemptions have been granted this year or last for any carrier to deliver weapons to Israel via Irish airspace.

Speaking ahead of a national rally due to get underway at Shannon from 2pm on Sunday, Former UN Peacekeeper and Founder of Shannonwatch Edward Horgan believes its a clear breach of Ireland’s neutrality.
