Shannowatch is warning of an urgent need to ‘restore’ Irish neutrality.
The anti-war group is holding it’s monthly gathering at Shannon airport this afternoon, to protest the continuing US military use of the airport.

Peace activists fear the regional airport could become a target for Russian retaliation because of it’s association with the US, who have been paramount in providing military support to Ukraine.
Edward Horgan, founding member of Shannonwatch is urging the government to reinforce the country’s neutral status.
