Union officials representing staff at The West County in Ennis says they have been given assurances over their immediate future of the hotel’s employees.
The receiver who was appointed by AIB to the West County last week met with SIPTU yesterday and gave assurances that it was businesses as usual at the flagship premises of the Clare Lynch Group.
The Clare Inn which was also part of the Lynch Hotel chain also went into receivership last week, is now being run by separate operators.
Siptu spokesperson Pat Ward says the situation with management at the West County will be made clearer next week
