A low level weather warning has been issued for Clare and the rest of the country.
Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather warning for fog and ice effective from 11pm tonight.
The national forecaster is warning that icy stretches and patches of freezing fog may lead to hazardous road conditions in some areas overnight.
The yellow weather warning will remain in effect until 11am on Monday morning.
