Striking restaurant staff at the Blarney Woollen Mills in Bunratty have returned to work today.
The workers downed tools over a fortnight ago in a dispute with management over the lay off of two chefs, claiming the compulsory redundancies are a breach of the company’s own policy.
Union representatives met with management yesterday where it was agreed to refer the row o the Labour Relations Commission for a final decision and the meantime, staff will return to normal duties.
