The Banner county will have plenty of representation at this years World Lifesaving Championships on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia.
European Champions Leana Liddane, Oisin O’Grady and Ferdia Hayes will be joined by Dylan O’Brien in the four strong Clare contingent representing Ireland.
Prior to jetting off down under they will be hosting the National Youth Lifesaving Championships in Kilkee on the 17th and 18th of August.
Ferdia Hayes says that if focused on the National Championships provides the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming World Championships.
