The Taoiseach says he's spoken to the US Vice President-elect about seeking a solution on the issue of the undocumented Irish living in the US.
Enda Kenny and Mike Pence spoke on the phone for 15 minutes last night where the economic ties between the two countries were also discussed.
Mr Kenny expressed his intention to engage positively with the new administration on a number of issues to the mutual benefit of Ireland and the U.S.
