The Taoiseach has defended the outgoing government's record on job creation in Clare.
Enda Kenny's comments, at the launch of his party's tourism manifesto at Loop Head Lighthouse, come at the beginning of the final week of campaigning ahead of the General Election.
Speaking in West Clare, Enda Kenny conceded that the recovery had yet to be felt in many areas, and said that rectifying this would be the priority if re-elected.
However, when pressed about the need for a large-scale jobs announcement in Clare, Enda Kenny insisted progress is being made.
