Leo Varadkar has visited University Hospital Limerick today and held meetings with senior members of management within the UL Hospitals Group.

He’s also meeting members of the Midwest Hospitals Campaign, with the group lobbying for the upgrading of Ennis, Nenagh and St John’s to Model 3 facilities.

However, Taoiseach Leo Varadkar believes full emergency department services in every county is now ‘impossible’ to provide.
