Clare’s rural and farming communities will be well represented at the Ploughing Championships, while they’ll also be backing the banner in some of the competitions.
Thousands of Clare people are expected to be among crowds of around 200,000 visitors to the three day Agricultural Festival which gets underway in Ratheniska, Co. Laois this morning.
While there’ll be Clare competitors in the Junior, Under 28, Under 21, Vintage and Horse Ploughing Categories.
