The Artist picked up the big awards at the Oscars last night – with Best Picture Best Director and Best Actor among the gongs it received.
Meryl Streep picked up her third Oscar for her work on Iron Lady while ‘The Shore’ which was part funded by Tourism Ireland – won the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film
The film stars Ciaran Hinds and Kerry Condon and was directed by Belfast native Terry George.
Minister for Arts Jimmy Deenihan has congratulated the cast and crew of ‘The Shore’.
