Three dead after separate Cork road crashes

Three people are dead and one man is in a critical condition following separate road crashes in Cork.

A man and a woman were killed in a head on collision on the N25 at Courtstown in Glanmire shortly after midnight.

One man was injured and is in a critical condition at Cork University Hospital.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash on the N8 between Kilbehenny and Mitchelstown at around 7 o’clock last night in which a 19 year old woman was killed.

She’s been named locally as Ruth Gorey from Kilbehenny.

Six others who were in her jeep at the time of the crash were injured – although none seriously.
