The Cliffs of Moher is being hailed as a ‘worldwide’ tourist attraction following an award win and a visitor number milestone both being revealed this week.
The Visitor Experience has been awarded a Gold Award and the accolade of ‘Best Visit’ in Ireland at the annual CIE Tours International Awards of Excellence.
The number of visitors to the attraction also broke the 1.1 million mark last year, making it the joint most visited tourist site in the country.
Sales and Marketing Manager at the Cliffs of Moher Experience, Melanie Lennon, says they feel they’ve bounced back from the difficulties of the pandemic.
