Two men have been arrested over the murder of Kenneth O'Brien.
Detectives have been looking for the 33-year-old's killers since his torso was found in a suitcase in the Grand Canal in Kildare last month.
Mr O'Brien from Ballyfermot in Dublin had been shot in the head before his body was dismembered with a chainsaw.
The two people arrested this morning are being held at Leixlip and Naas Garda Stations.
