Two men are due before the court this morning, charged in connection with four robberies at retail premises in Clare.
The men, aged in their early 20’s and early 40s, were arrested by Gardaí on Tuesday evening following the robbery of a premises at Minister’s Cross.
It’s understood Gardaí were assisted by members of the local community.
One of the men were apprehended close to the scene, while the second man was arrested in Sixmilebridge, with both men detained at Ennis Garda Station for questioning.
The men are due before Gort District Court this morning, charged in relation to four robberies in total; two at the same shop in Minister’s Cross, one at a retail premises in Sixmilebridge and another at a bookies in Ennis.
