Uisce Éireann insists people in Clare will be better-informed about water supply issues going forward thanks to the roll-out of a new text alerts service.
A total of 42,278 households in Clare are now eligible to sign up for a free-to-use text alerts service through which they will be notified about supply interruptions including details of outages and boil water notices.
Customers can sign up by inputting their Eircode and mobile number via Uisce Éireann’s website water.ie.
