University Hospital Limerick Once Again Most Overcrowded In The Country

University Hospital Limerick is once more the most overcrowded in the country today.

INMO figures show there are 78 patients on trolleys at the emergency department of the Dooradoyle facility.

That is more than double the patients at the next busiest hospital, which is Sligo University Hospital where there are 35 patients on trollies.

396 people are waiting for beds in hospitals around the country this morning, meaning almost 1 in every 5 patients on trolleys are in UHL.
