US Vice President Joe Biden and Republican candidate Paul Ryan have clashed in their only TV debate – which has been widely declared a draw.
Issues such as healthcare, the economy and Iran were up for discussion during the 90 minute exchange.
Vice President Biden gave a more spirited performance than President Obama – who lost the first TV debate to his challenger Mitt Romney last week.
