A number of water consumers in Ennis are without supply this morning after what Clare County Council has described as a ‘major burst’ in the Cusack Road areas.
Consumers in Cusack Road, Carmody Street, Mill Road and adjacent areas are without water today as supply has been turned off to facilitate repairs.

Council staff are at the scene and are working to restore the problem, but say it could be lunchtime before supply is restored.
Meanwhile, Clare County Council wishes to advise water consumers in the Limerick Road Area of Killaloe that due to essential leak detection works, there may be interruptions to the water supply once more today.
Clare County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
