Gardai in Co Donegal are investigating a fire which claimed the life of a woman in her 70s.
The blaze broke out at a house in Ballyboes, Creeslough shortly after 1 o'clock this morning.
The body of the woman, who lived alone, was removed from the house and taken to Letterkenny General Hospital, where a post mortem will take place.
The scene is preserved for a Garda technical examination.
