Works Underway To Restore Water Supply In South-East Clare And Parts Of Limerick

Works are ongoing to restore water supply to homes and businesses in parts of south-east Clare today.

Uisce Éireann crews are in the process of carrying out repairs to a burst watermain which has caused supply disruption in Cratloe, Parteen, Shannon Banks and surrounding areas.

The disruptions are also affecting parts of Limerick including Longpavement, Moyross, Ballananty, Thomondgate, Shelbourne Road, Moylish and Corbally.

The repair works are expected to be completed by 5pm today and customers are advised that it typically takes two to three hours for supply to fully return.
