A yellow thunderstorm warning has been put in place for Clare.
Met Eireann have confirmed the warning came into effect at 4:38pm and will remain in place until 9pm.
Locals are told to be advised there may be localised flooding and hazardous travelling conditions.
The status yellow rainfall warning remains due to come into effect from 10pm until 7am Monday morning.
