A yellow weather warning comes into effect for Clare and the rest of the country tonight.
Met Eireann is predicting heavy rain here this evening with the possibility of thundery downpours.
The public are being advised of potential impacts such as localised flooding, poor visibility and hazardous travelling conditions.
The low level alert will be in place from 10pm tonight and will remain in place until 7am Monday morning.
