It is with broken hearts the Thompson family announces the passing of their beautiful son and brother Dereck, who passed away at home in the arms of his heartbroken parents, David and Margie, on Tuesday 5th March 2024.
Dereck was an adored son, to David and Margie and big brother to David Junior.
Dereck will be sadly missed by his Mam and Dad, brother David Junior, his godmother Carmel, uncle Tim and all his aunts and uncles in law, his cousins, his step nana Catherine, his extended family and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.
Rest In Peace our beloved Dereck.

Reposing in Our Lady Assumed into Heaven Church, Doonbeg on Friday from 5 o’clock with Funeral Prayers at 7 o’clock.
Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Lisdeen Cemetery.
