On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Céira Moroney who is preparing to represent the Banner County in the Miss Ireland final next month.
The 27 year-old speech and language therapist from Ardnacrusha spoke about why she first entered the competition, hoping to follow in the footsteps of her Leaving Cert classmate, Doctor Ivanna McMahon, from Barefield, who is the reigning Miss Ireland.
Céira is hosting a virtual fundraising concert in aid of AsIAm and the Julian Benson CF Foundation.
