On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Pat was joined by Joan Johnston who is the General Manager of COPD Support Ireland along with Dr Ivanna McMahon who is the current Miss Ireland from Barefield. The duo discussed the upcoming webinar which will be hosted by COPD Support Ireland called ‘Living Your Best Life with COPD’. Joan discussed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and the various symptoms associated with the disease. She also highlighted the various risk factors which may lead to causing the disease and urged people to contact their GP if they display these symptoms. Joan previewed the upcoming webinar which will take place on Friday 7th of April at 12pm. Ivanna highlighted the number of people who have not been diagnosed with COPD and urged anyone with the disease to follow treatment provided by your GP to curb the effects of the disease.
