Fighting Blindness is hosting a public engagement day this coming Saturday (8th June).
Part of the Retina International World Congress taking place, the day offers an opportunity for people with sight loss to hear about the latest treatment advances and to quiz eye experts.

To discuss this further, Alan Morrissey was joined by Áine Mae Crowley. Áine, who hails from Lahinch, lost her eyesight as a result of diabetic retinopathy.
