The Mid-West Region Gears Up for World Rally Championships

The Mid-West Region has been successful in its bid to host the World Rally Championship (WRC) for a three-year period from 2025.

Limerick, Waterford and Kerry will be the locations, with each to be given a year over 2025, 2026 and 2027.

Last week, we had discussed with the Kilmurry Fianna Fáil Councillor Alan O’Callaghan, who himself has been involved in rallies for 30 years, the benefits that Clare could reap from Limerick being involved.
