On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Sergeant Dominic Regan who represents the Gardaí on the Clare GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee along with Michael McDonagh who is a retired guard, former Chairman of Clare County Board and Vice-Chairman of Miltown Malbay. They spoke about the upcoming drug awareness initiative that is set to take place in the community centre in Miltown Malbay on Wednesday 31st of May at 8pm. The initiative brings together Clare GAA Health and Wellbeing Committee, Bushypark House, The Samaritans and an Garda Siochána. Dominic mentioned how the health and wellbeing committee came about in 2022 and highlighted his role as a guest speaker at the initiative. Michael urged the people of Clare and Miltown Malbay to attend the information evening and outlined the variety of speakers on the day.
