Clare Mother On Death Of Daughter After Taking Counterfeit Benzodizepine Tablets

A Clare mother has pleaded with people to stay away from counterfeit benzodiazepine tablets following the death of her daughter.

Joann Casey has spoken out after her daughter, 25-year-old Karley Linanne, from Kilrush, died last month after taking the tablets.

It is understood another recent death in Clare is linked with the counterfeit benzodiazepine tablets, while overdoses have been reported in the Mid-West and elsewhere around the country.
