Clare Tour Operator Voices Concerns Over Partial Cliffs Of Moher Closure

Two sections of a popular walking trail at the Cliffs of Moher will be closed today, so that works planned for later in the year can be carried out in the coming weeks.

A total of 5,500 metres of the walking route will be closed to the public, with access being prohibited except to members of the emergency services.

Clare County Council had proposed to undertake the trail enhancement works later this year. CLDC hopes one section of the Cliffs of Moher walking trail could be re-opened as early as the end of September.
